MORE THAN ATHLETES.
DISCIPLES WHO MAKE DISCIPLES.
Sports give us an incredible opportunity to enter the world of young people. But our goal has never been simply to develop better athletes. At FCA Sports HTX, we use sports to build relationships, share Jesus Christ, develop character, deepen faith, and equip young people to use their God-given influence to impact their teams, schools, families, churches, and communities.

FCA's E3 discipleship strategy guides the mission and provides the framework for how we pursue relationships and make disciples. We engage coaches and athletes where they are, equip them to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and His Word, and empower them to use their influence to help others know and follow Him.
THE DRAFT
We enter the world of young people through sports, build authentic relationships, earn trust, and create opportunities to introduce them to Jesus.
THE DEVELOPMENT
Through relational discipleship, God's Word, camps, Huddles, mentors, and Christ-centered community, we help young people grow in faith, character, and leadership.
THE DEPLOYMENT
We prepare young people to go—using their lives, relationships, gifts, and influence to serve, lead, and help others know and follow Jesus.
FCA's E3 strategy guides the mission. The Draft • The Development • The Deployment illustrates how FCA Sports HTX lives it out through sports.
FROM INVITATION
TO MULTIPLICATION.
E3 becomes visible through relationships. The Draft, The Development, and The Deployment help us describe what Engage, Equip, and Empower look like as young people move through the FCA Sports HTX journey.
THE DRAFT
Before there can be development, there must be an invitation. Through leagues, coaches, schools, and sports experiences, we meet young people where they are and build relationships that can ultimately point them toward Jesus.
THE DEVELOPMENT
Jesus didn't simply call His disciples. He walked with them. Development happens through relational discipleship and experiences that shape the whole person—spiritually, personally, and as a leader.
Through Beyond the Game Camp, FCA Huddles, God's Word, mentors, and Christ-centered community, young people are challenged to grow in faith, character, and leadership.
THE DEPLOYMENT
Development was never intended to stop with us. We want young people to recognize that God has given them gifts, relationships, and influence for a purpose—and empower them to use those things to serve, lead, and point others toward Christ.
IDENTITY. PURPOSE.
INFLUENCE.
E3 guides the discipleship journey. Within that journey, these three formation anchors help young people understand who God created them to be, why their lives matter, and how their influence can be used for His purposes.
IDENTITY
Helping young people understand that their identity is greater than performance, popularity, statistics, or ability—and discover who God created them to be.
PURPOSE
Helping young people recognize that their gifts, experiences, and opportunities can be used for something greater than themselves.
INFLUENCE
Helping young people understand that leadership isn't simply a title. Every person has influence and an opportunity to use it to serve others and point people toward Christ.
WHO YOU BECOME MATTERS.
Leadership isn't simply about what you accomplish. It's about who you're becoming. Through competition, relationships, challenges, and service, we intentionally reinforce values that extend far beyond the game.
DISCIPLESHIP ISN'T BUILT
IN A SINGLE SEASON.
We don't want a young person's FCA experience to end when the season ends. The pathway creates opportunities for relationships to grow into discipleship, discipleship into leadership, and leadership into a life of Kingdom influence and multiplication.
LEAGUE
Sports create the first relational connection as young people experience coaches and leaders who model Christ-centered values.
BEYOND THE GAME
Camp creates space for relationships to deepen as young people encounter Jesus, community, God's Word, and relational discipleship.
MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL HUDDLES
Students continue growing through Scripture, prayer, accountability, Christ-centered community, and ongoing discipleship.
COLLEGIATE HUDDLES
Young adults are equipped to recognize their calling, lead with purpose, and use their influence to reach others.
KINGDOM MULTIPLIER
As adult leaders, they invest in the next generation, make disciples, and multiply the Gospel through every area of life.
MEET KJ.
KJ's story is one example of what can happen when the relationship doesn't end with the season.
KJ didn't simply move through programs. He began using his influence to help create opportunities for others.
LEADERSHIP
IN ACTION.
KJ's journey illustrates the larger vision. We want young people not only to receive encouragement, discipleship, and leadership development—but eventually to give those things away.
As young people grow in Christ, we want them to recognize that their influence isn't something to save for adulthood. They can lead now—in the locker room, classroom, Huddle, home, church, team, and community.
LEADERS ARE
THE LEGACY.
Our hope is bigger than a successful season. We want to see young people who know Jesus, understand who God created them to be, recognize the purpose He has placed on their lives, and use their influence to make a difference in the world around them.
One day the uniforms will be put away. The scoreboard will turn off. The final buzzer will sound.
But the leader they have become will remain.
